Quick answers

Before you subscribe.

Will I be charged today?: No. Every paid plan starts with the 21-day trial. Stripe collects payment details up front, but the first charge lands 21 days after the trial begins. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
What counts as a tenant?: One Microsoft 365 tenant. If you deploy Athena to 5 client tenants, that's the Professional plan; 25 tenants is Scale. UK MSPs running more than 25 tenants should look at Founding 25 first.
Per-user pricing?: No. Athena licences per tenant only. A 50-user tenant and a 5,000-user tenant pay the same flat rate. No headcount audits, no per-seat true-ups.
Switching plans?: Upgrade or downgrade any time inside the Stripe customer portal. Pro-rata billing handles the differences automatically.
Cancellation?: Cancel from the Stripe portal. Athena enters read-only mode on the tenant: webparts stop rendering, but nothing in SharePoint gets deleted. Resume anytime by re-subscribing.
Sandbox vs production?: This page is running against the licensing sandbox. Real Stripe live mode is identical: same SKUs, same SHA, same UX. Test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 works only in sandbox.
